  • What information do you need from me?
Anything describing your needs and the site layout is great! Learning your goals and needs from using my services gives me an idea of what type of photos and videos I will be creating. Knowing the project location, type and layout lets me start to brainstorm shot ideas and know what equipment I will need to bring!
  • What cameras do you use?
Primary camera is the Sony A7IV for ultimate versatility between taking videos and photos. Secondary camera is the Sony A9 for fast focusing and crisp images.
  • What drones do you use?
I have three drones that I currently operate with. 2 Cinematic and 1 FPV. The DJI Mavic 3 Pro - Unmatched video and photo quality. The DJI Mini 3 Pro - Compact, fast deployment and able to operate in small spaces or areas with certain flight restrictions. The DJI Avata FPV - Instantly eye catching content that puts the viewer into the action with aerial acrobatics and up close interactive flights!
  • How far do you travel for shoots?
As far as you want to send me! I'm based in Ottawa ON, but travel to the northern James Bay area frequently for work with mineral exploration companies.
  • How far in advance should I reach out and book a shoot?
As early as you can! During busy periods, time slots can fill up and the more of an advanced notice I get will allow me to manage projects and make sure you have a spot! For single day shoots within the Ottawa area, a 2 week notice is more than enough! For larger projects over multiple days such as mineral exploration, 1 month is great! I know having a solid date that far in advance is hard to maintain because of the industry but the more time for planning grants the best final product.
  • Do you also edit the photos and videos?
Yes! I edit everything for you and create great visuals that can be used for any marketing needs!
  • How long does it take to edit? How long before I get stuff to post?
Photos are usually fast with final products given within the week. Videos vary more depending on the amount of videos being made, the overall size of the project and how many days I am filming for you. Typical return time is 1-2 weeks.
  • How do I receive my final photos and videos?
Fast and Easy! I create a Dropbox folder for each of my clients where any current and future projects will be stored for viewing and downloading while maintaining the highest quality possible. If you already have a different program to store images and videos I am happy to supply them on that platform.
