The first shoot was delayed due to the Quebec wildfires of 2023, which posed a threat to the safety of personnel and accessibility to the sites. The remoteness and isolation of the exploration sites also posed logistical challenges. Q2 required a photographer capable of independently navigating these tough conditions—able to carry all necessary gear, keep pace with geologists, all while capturing unique perspectives of the project in remote locations.
